Privacy Policy

Effective August 17, 2026

This policy explains how the Ruziev ASO Searcher website and macOS application handle information. It should be reviewed whenever the product’s services or data practices change.

1. Overview

Ruziev ASO Searcher is a native macOS application for App Store research, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, ratings monitoring, niche discovery, and AI-assisted launch planning. The application is designed to keep core project data on your Mac while using online services only for features that require them.

2. Information stored on your Mac

The application may store the following information locally:

  • apps, storefronts, keywords, ranking history, competitors, ratings, and project settings;
  • Launch Studio briefs, imported screenshots, generated packages, and localization work;
  • preferences such as refresh settings and selected AI configuration;
  • license credentials, anonymous service sessions, and user-provided service keys in macOS Keychain.

Local data remains on your Mac unless you use a feature that clearly requires an online request or you export and share it yourself.

3. Information sent to online services

App Store research

When you search for an app, check a keyword, refresh rankings, or open a public App Store listing, the application sends the search term, app identifier, and selected storefront to Apple’s public services. Apple processes these requests under its own privacy terms.

AI features

AI generation runs only when you request it. The information needed for that request may include your app brief, metadata, target market, keyword research, selected screenshots, app icon, and related project context. The request is sent through the configured Supabase service and may be processed by OpenAI. Do not include personal, confidential, or regulated information that is not necessary for the requested result.

Licensing and subscriptions

License activation and validation use an anonymous service session, a license-key fingerprint, device instance information, subscription plan, entitlement status, and expiry information. The raw license key is stored in macOS Keychain. Subscription checkout and payment processing are provided by Polar. Ruziev ASO Searcher does not receive or store your full payment-card number.

Updates

The application may periodically check its published update feed to determine whether a newer version is available. Standard network information such as an IP address may be visible to the hosting provider as part of that request.

4. Website data

The current static website does not set first-party cookies, create user accounts, or include advertising and behavioral-analytics scripts. The hosting provider may still process standard request information, such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and timestamp, for delivery, security, and operational logging.

5. How information is used

Information is used only to provide requested product functions, maintain subscription access, secure the service, diagnose failures, deliver updates, and comply with legal obligations. Ruziev ASO Searcher does not sell your project content or use it for targeted advertising.

6. Service providers

Depending on the features you use, data may be handled by:

  • Apple for public App Store search and listing data;
  • Supabase for secure application functions, anonymous sessions, and entitlement records;
  • OpenAI when AI-powered generation is requested;
  • Polar for checkout, subscriptions, and license benefits;
  • the website and update-feed hosting provider for file and page delivery.

Each provider processes information under its own terms and privacy policy.

7. Retention and deletion

Local projects remain on your Mac until you delete them or remove the application’s stored data. Keychain values remain until you deactivate the license, remove the saved service configuration, or delete them from Keychain. Limited entitlement and service records may be retained for the subscription period, fraud prevention, security, dispute handling, and legal compliance.

8. Security

Ruziev ASO Searcher uses macOS Keychain for sensitive local values and encrypted HTTPS connections for supported online requests. No security measure can guarantee absolute protection, so keep your Mac, license key, and any personal API keys secure.

9. Your choices

You may avoid AI processing by not using AI features, remove locally stored projects from the application, deactivate your license before changing Macs, and cancel your subscription through the purchase-management options supplied by Polar. Requests relating to a third-party provider may also need to be directed to that provider.

10. Children

The product is intended for app developers and business users. It is not directed to children under 13, and it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as the product changes. The effective date at the top of the page will be revised when material changes are published.

12. Contact

For privacy questions or requests, use the support method provided in the application or with your purchase receipt. Include “Privacy request” in the subject and do not include your full license key.
